Structural analysis of a two-floor stone house in Thasos island

The project includes the structural analysis of an old two-storey building in Thasos. The wall is made of stone with wooden floors and roof. The architectural study includes also the extension of the building with a reinforced concrete structure in contact with the old house. 
SAP2000 finite element software was used for the analysis. Shell elements were used for the simulation of the walls and the concrete plates while frame elements were used for beams and columns.
