Restoration project of othoman bath in Chalkidiki
This project took place in co-operation with the 10th Eforeum of Byzantine Monuments and the civil engineer (PM of the restoration works) D. Drosou. The project includes the structural restoration analysis and the intervention acts for the reinforcement of the monument. Stone wall-rebuild and steel tendons were included to the restoration proposal. Apropriate mortar with special material compose was also used for the reinforcement of the wall. Stone butresses were constructed to the ground in order to prevent it from slope due to high inclination. SAP2000 finite element software was used for the analysis. Here are presented photorealistic pictures and drawings taken from the published file of 10th Eforeum of Byzantine Monuments and some analysis simulation snapshots taken from SAP software.
